In March Suubi Trust met the cost for 272 patients treated at the Lira Clinic. This is a slight increase over previous months, probably reflective of the start of the rainy season. That brings the total treated so far this year to 645.

Suubi Trust is supporting the work of International Medical Foundation in Lira, Northern Uganda.

Our initial aim is to provide funds totalling £18,000, during 2008, to provide primary healthcare to the most disadvantaged in this region. We anticipate that such care and treatment will be received by 200 patients each month, 2,400 over the full year. [...]
