Q3 2008 Funds

In the three months, July, August and September our supporters raised an absolutely amazing
£23,340.
On behalf of my fellow trustees I want to pass on our thanks to all and simply say that we are overwhelmed by such generosity.

St. Peter’s Methodist Primary School has collected two more gifts to help support healthcare provided to the pupils at the Lira Primary School. In July they raised £188.05 at the end of term production and more recently £102.16 at their Harvest celebration. Earlier this year St. Peter’s raised £255.49.

You may recall that we recently received a donation of £3,000 from Dr Richard Bogle and Dr Houman Ashrafian of Cardiac Report Limited and SonoSite gave £13,300 in the form of discount for the supply of a MicroMaxx Ultrasound.
These photos show the MicroMaxx now in use by staff at International Hospital Kampala.

The following is a brief account of giving and sponsorship in April:

We received £1,054 from individual supporters.
An individual gave £400 to meet the cost of care for a young man at Hope Ward.
Kuvuka gave £500 to support treatments given to patients at the Lira Clinic.

towards the purchase of a new Ultrasound for International Hospital Kampala.
