Suubi Trust is working with International Medical Foundation to fund their work at a health clinic in Pader, one of the areas ravished by the LRA. The clinic has treated 2,396 charity patients since October 2008.

We are very pleased to announce the receipt of a further £6,000 from Trade Aid UK to help support our Health Centre in Pader, Northern Uganda, which has treated, free of charge, 1,652 patients since last October (as at mid-May).

Last year Simon and Judy Friend pledged to help raise funds for our new clinic at Pader. In 2008 they raised £25,000 to help refurbish and equip the clinic, ready for its opening in October. In the first 4 months, 566 patients received treatment free of charge.
