Suubi is a Ugandan word meaning ‘Hope’ which we think captures the essence of our vision to offer expert care, change lives and make a difference to the most vulnerable in Ugandan society. We are supporting each of the following:
- Hope Ward - a 25 bed ward at International Hospital Kampala (IHK) which provides complex medical care to the needy, free of charge
- Lira Clinic - providing high quality healthcare to communities in the Lira District in Northern Uganda.
This Blog will be used to promote these works and to keep Sponsors and Friends informed. You can view the various postings by clicking on ‘Suubi Trust‘.
This letter from Dr Ian Clarke gives a quick overview and welcomes our support.
We have four trustees, read about them here.
This short video introduces the work being done at Hope Ward; if the quality of play seems a little jumpy then press pause and let the file download before playing…
