These funds were used to:
- Treat 289 patients admitted to Hope Ward for complex medical care, including Cancer treatments
- Support a TB project carrying out the first validation in East Africa for MOTs diagnosis of TB (a low cost method of culturing TB)
- Provide free primary healthcare for 2,535 patients at the Lira Clinic
- Sponsor Kenneth, a Clinical Officer in Lira, providing immunizations for more than 50 children a month
- Establish a charity funded Physiotherapy clinic at International Hospital Kampala
- Help renovate and re-equip a Health Centre in Pader and start providing primary healthcare free of charge, similar to our work in Lira.
