In April, Suubi Trust met the cost for 282 patient treatments at the Lira Clinic; which brings the total treated so far this year to 927.
Of these, 85 were five years or under (30%).
A high number, 92, about one third, of patients presenting at the clinic were treated for malaria. Many others were treated for respiratory tract infections.
206 patients were able to afford the nominal fee of UGX 2,000 (about 64p).
The cost of treatment, in addition to patient contributions, was UGX 5,683,490, just over £1,800.
