This was a 38 year old patient who came to the Hope Ward with extensive keloids all over the body and more especially around the neck.
He had completely lost all hope for a better life and was disfigured.
But what happened?
MK had a road traffic accident in 1987 and sustained several bruises.
However, instead of the bruises becoming normal scar tissue, they became keloids.
For the last 10 years MK used up all his money, seeking treatment from the traditional healers and hospitals. The family members decided to discriminate against him but he remained with full support from the wife alone.
Through it all, he tried to advertise himself in newspapers seeking for help in vain. However, he found his way to the Hope Ward. After the operation he felt a lot better and was so so grateful for all the care and solution for his problems.
One month later, he was discharged happy and well with a completely new face.
