Suubi Trust provided funding to enable staff from the Lira Clinic to receive formal training in the use of Immunisation. Once trained our staff will be able to provide such immunisations and the Government will provide the essential drugs. Training took place during the week of the 3rd March and was attended by:
- Kenneth Odongo (Clinical Officer)
- Miriam Muwumuza (Registered Midwife)
Workshop Objectives included:
- To equip health workers from private health facilities with skills and knowledge about immunisation
- Reduce infant mortality and morbidity rates through immunisation
- To increase immunisation coverage in Uganda.
