Moses is the Clinical Officer in the Lira Clinic. Clinical Officers are trained to Diploma level to carry out outpatient services. Moses is the senior member of staff at the Clinic and consults with all patients and is able to prescribe treatments. Moses was born in 1981. He is Ugandan and his tribe is Mufumbira. He is from Kisoro District in Western Uganda. He lost his father in 1999, but remains with his mother and several siblings, who now live in Kampala. He studied to be a clinical officer in Fort Portal and passed with mainly credits.Moses has been working for IMG for several years. Before working in Lira he worked on an HIV programme at one of our other clinics. He has taken the lead on setting up the Lira clinic. He is particularly interested in Community Health and hopes to study to become a medical doctor next academic year.
